DescriptionHelen had presented her self-portrait as a frontal head view. Her hair is pulled back. She had prominent eyebrows and opened eyes with a strong, somber gaze. The lips are full and highlighted. The background is a deep black. It is a classical portrait, masterfully executed, emotionally thoughtful.
