DescriptionAn illuminated naked male figure, his right arm extended, is emerging from a circle of figures in chains. The 'slaves' are in darkness. The upper background is a rounded mountain form with flames emanating behind. The inscription at the lower left reads, 'And the Spirit of Victory Shall be a Light unto Man.' Even after the Nazi threat appeared to be able to overcome and war bonds weren't as necessary, the greatest hope for winning the war was through increased labor and production.
