DescriptionThis bird's eye perspective of the New York City landmark in the evening depicts the grand intersection ar the junction of Broadway and Seventh Avenue. The brightly illuminated hub of American's entertainment industry is aptly depicted with tones of grey contrasted by the lights. Hoards of pedestrians are indicated as tiny specks along the walkways, as seen from above. Blumenschein had a Mondernist view, which is well represented in this lithograph.
