DescriptionExecuted in a modernistic style the mid section of this oil is the image of a burst of orange flame from which emanates a long spiral of brown/gray smoke. A yellow circle surrounds this scene. Two green figures are visible at the lower left; a dog is to their right. At the upper left, in green, the façade of the Taos Pueblo church is apparent. The bonfire is part of the Christmas Eve celebration at the pueblo each year.On View
