DescriptionAt the upper left is printed on the photogravure " Plate # 547. At lower left is printed North Pueblo at Taos. This work is from the North American Indian Series and is the architectural view of the face of the North Pueblo at Taos Pueblo. The Rio Pueblo de Taos, which emanates from the Sacred Blue Lake flows at the bottom center. The view emphasizes the three storystructure, the oldest in North America. Large cottonwood trees are visible on the right. Two native Americans play by a large fallen tree trunk mid-right.
