Jane Grossenbacher

BiographyBorn in 1951 in Tulsa, OK, Jane studied at Indiana University and San Francisco Art Institute. She loved adventure and traveling - to Spain to study flamenco dancing and to Morocco to shoot photos. She traveled with a circus for a year and lived and worked in England and in Santa Fe, New Mexico before settling in San Francisco. Her black and white images and photogravures have been featured in art shows and galleries internationally and are in private collections throughout North America and in Japan and Europe. Collectors include the David and Lucile Packard Foundation. She had been teaching at the Academy of Art, and living in Project Artaud with artist Keith Bjorkman, her husband of 16 years.
