DescriptionIn the abstracted form of a Hopi ceremonial dance mask, the clay sculpture is black with two cut out shapes on either side and open slits along the bottom center. It is intended to serve as a mounted sculpture, which may be lit from within. The half circular mask shape is attached to a flat clay back carved as the wooden ceremonial headdresses in Hopi ceremonial dances.On View
