DescriptionGroups of two males dancers followed by two women dancers encircle the large cottonwood tree in the San Ildefonso plaza. The male dancers wear feather headdresses and the women, long hair flowing, have a headband with three feathers. The men carry banners edged with feathers. On-lookers are visible in the background, standing to watch the dance, their adobe homes behind them.
