DescriptionA vessel-like closed shape, the clay sculpture has two small circular forms on the top. The surface of the clay is textured, a rust and beige color. It has irregular dark rust/grey shapes fired into the clay at the top right and bottom left corners. The sculpture was fired in an Anagama kiln. This is a Japanese wood firing method of kiln used in Korea & Japan 1000 years ago. The kiln requires many days to fire.On View
