DescriptionAn installation, the Edge of Light is a vertical copper panel painted with gold, with a 9 inch slice in the middle of the work. Verso a box is fitted which contains an 11 inch fluorescent light bulb. The bulb illuminates the work when plugged into an outlet. A member of the “Light and Space” movement from Southern California in the 1960’s, here Orr is concerned with the viewer’s perception and interaction of the work.
