DescriptionTwo 6.5 x 74 inch sheets are mounted in the frame. The lower sheet is a sketch of events of the later history of Texas while the upper sheet is of the exploration of Texas. The work was created for a San Antonio post office mural for which he was not selected. In the upper panel the figures are painted, colored and the detail is evident.
