DescriptionCochiti Pueblo is south of Santa Fe. The church at Cochiti is on the mid- left of the black and white image. In the bottom foreground a rooster and two hens add to the bucolic scene. On the right two hornos (baking ovens) are visible. An adobe dwelling with a large cottonwood is at the rear right. The mountains in the background are highlighted and the sky is deeply shadowed. The woodcut is a strong modernist impression.
