DescriptionThe subject of the ceramic cup is from the drawing, reference # 219, in this appraisal. Gus Foster commissioned the drawing and the subject of this item is the ceramic cup based on the drawing. A male figure wearing a blue shirt, brown pants and sombrero is copulating with a nude female. On either side of the handle is a green, yellow and pink cactus. The cup and handle surface is a glazed ivory. The cup is housed in a glass-sided rectangular wood box designed by and manufactured for Ken Price.
