DescriptionThis insightful black and white image depicts at lower left a seated Taos Pueblo American Indian. He is wrapped in a blanket and is facing the wall of the lower portion of an adobe home. The home is most likely a part of the larger three-storied structure. To the left of the American Indian is a doorway. The softly angled architecture of the building is dramatically depicted as the main subject of the image. Three canales protruding from the walls cast long shadows to the right.
