DescriptionA battle scene. In the foreground, two figures on horseback ride toward the left while shooting bows and arrows. On the right, a mounted figure brandishing a sword has been hit by an arrow and is falling off his horse which is falling to the ground. In the background behind a low hill, two figures with helmets watch. There is a small rectangle of floral design above the background figures and an oval stamp in the upper right corner of the image. Rounded black blobs run along the top of the hill and one appears in the foreground. Unsure what these are or were. The image has a thin border of gold tick marks and an outer border decorated with a gold vine and leaf design.
