DescriptionA large standing figure of simplified and exaggerated form occupies the field on the left, against a neutral abstracted background. The background is segmented into two veritcal planes in modulated tones of mauve and green. Broad shoulders are stylized and narrow toward the bottom of the figure that merges with a rounded form. Actively rendered, the figure is spattered in purples and green on a white under-base, and is in contrast with the background. The posture of the figure is a good example of the iconic stance used by Scholder repeatedly in the Warrior and Shaman series, as well as being a prototype for many of his figures.
