Stan Berning

"I am an artist/painter hailing from Ohio. After a brief round of studio art courses at Oberlin College in Ohio and Earlham College in Indiana I moved to New Mexico in 1976 and to Santa Fe in 1981 . Here in Santa Fe my true education began. I have had the experience of working along side some of the finest artists in the world. I was a studio assistant at Graphics Workshop, a print studio, from 1983 to 1986 which led to a long and productive career as a printmaker. From 1991 through 1995 I owned Stan Berning Contemporary Gallery here in Santa Fe.
