Illustrator, painter, designer. Born in Las Flores, Baja California on Jan. 19, 1895. In 1909 Mario and his brother Juan moved Los Angeles. Larrinaga then painted for pleasure and was active in the local art scene. Painting in both representational and abstract styles, his subject matter was derived from travels in Mexico and Hawaii. His last three years were spent in Camarillo, CA; he died on Dec. 15, 1979.
