Syd J. Browne

BiographySyd J. Browne was born in Brooklyn, NY on August 21, 1907. His work mainly oil paintings and etchings includes streets, landscapes, townscapes, marine and harbors, and scenes of Spain. He was the husband of 20th-century artist Sandra James Browne.

Browne studied at the Art Students League in New York City; with Eric Pape (1870-1938); and DuMond.
