DescriptionPoetry print by Ezra Pound with blue and black zoomorphic painting at center left.
The poetry that accompanies each woodblock print are Ezra Pounds' remarkable translations of medieval Chinese poems by Li Po (A.D. 701-762).
Li Po is often regarded, along with Du Fu, as one of the greatest poets in China's literary history. Approximately 1,100 of his poems remain today.
